Broken Wand Ceremony – May 22nd, 2025

On Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, we will come together to honor the memory of Dennis "Bulldog" Chan, who sadly passed away on May 1st. Dennis was a long-standing member of our community, and this meeting will be a tribute to his incredible contributions.

Details for the meeting:

• Date: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025
• Time: 7:00 PM (JAM sessions until 7:30 PM, followed by the ceremony and the Close-Up Competition)
• Location: Sunrise Community Hall, Vancouver

Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening.

Remember: if you want a new trick, look in an old book! Our hope is that whenever our members see a trick they really want, or are trying to learn a difficult piece of theory, or are interested in buying a book— they will first check the library. This is one way we can improve our magic, and this searchable online catalogue is the first step towards taking full advantage of this incredible resource.
